in my opinion, enven though this movie screwed up big time (im talking mostly about the meadow scene) i still thought this movie was amazing. and IT HAD MORE JACOB IN IT THAN TE BOOK ACTUALLY DID! 
tht wasn't included in the book, but i liked how much more he was added it, brought him into the story more and gave him a good start especially for when tehy make New Moon and i know for a factr that they are. the only thing about this movie that actually made me mad was the fact that it made me want to like Edward and turned me to team Switzerland for a couple days.

Yeah, I feel the same. I didnt like that I was a Switzerland, because Edward frustrates me... 
The movie was good except for few scenes like as you said, the meadow, Plus I think they completly shortened it up too much, there were important things they missed.

I agree. There are a lot of things in the book that they cut in the movie. Kissing scenes and night time interractions and the little things Bella did, like with the pyjamas and all that. And the scene in the meadow, that also dissapointed me. But then again, I think that dissapointed everyone who has minimal knowledge of, at least, the first book. (: The bit with Taylor and the almost-car-crash was a bit of a let-down too. I was expecting it to be a lot more flashy and extravagant than what it was. I though that Bella'd really his her headon the ice and that the van would go flying all over the place and--well, you get the point. The scene was still cool though. Just not AS cool as I'd hoped.
The rest was pretty cool. I wish they'd darkened Alice's hair and actually given Victoria falming red hair, but, oh well. At least Carlisle and Jacob weren't dissapointing. (;
Oh.
Which reminds me of the huge white driftwood tree on the beach. I was looking forward to that. And then, nothing. ):

the meadow scene was the worst part of the movie.. edward was not sparkly!!!!!! 
I think the best scene in the move was the baseball scene... and i think that the colors were too muted!

that whole part of the movie was screwed up
edward didn't want to show bella what he looked like in the sun

the movie was on one hand a big disappointment. it wasn't like the book.
but on the other hand it was so funny. charlie was so funny and the carcrash-scene ... :"sorry, i was sleeping".
but what made me really upset was that neither edward nor bella said: i love you.

too short and even some parts were only made up and plus they did not put all the scenes from the book into the movie which is disturbing...
