He's alright...Kinda...

Edward's alright, but fairly controlling...totally not my kind of rock.

On First I really like him.Well i'm kinda a really vampire fan and i thoug he was kinda cute.But then he
become really controling etc.Not really my type of guy.But i don't totally dislike him.Not like other Edwards fans that start to
make mesege about Hating Jacob just becuse they did not like him.

Yeah, i cant think of a person who wasnt in love with him at first, even I was, but I kinda lost my thing for him in New Moon: "You...don't...want...me?" "No." but at the end he was ginormously awesome again but I hold a grudge against him..he doesnt seem so horrible, but way controlling...he's okay but Jacob is cooler. Err...hotter.

True!...And you know is controlling because bella is a trouble magnet! lol
sooo.. i kinda understand it in some way hahaha.
But in first place if he want bella that much ,he will have stayed with ...and protect her.

He is definatly a control freak I think everyone here agree's to that but I guess Edward doesn't bother me half as much as how Bella reacts around him, like everything at the end of new moon, SHOULD have caused anger. But nooooo Bella loves Edward soooo much she can't even be angry at him. grrr it ANNOYS ........sigh... It just seems to me, that what Jacob said about health was 100% right.

And personally....I don't do drugs.

lol slick, Juls! im always teasin my friend about the "my brand of heroin" comment, she'll say that Jacob's a dumbbell or whatever and ill look at her and say "well, say what you like, but at least he isnt controlled by an addiction to illegal substances and bear blood." and then she comes up with some comeback that doesnt make sense but we're like, closer than Alice and Bella, its way awesome but on the verge of bloody when we fight Tian, i have to agree with staying and protecting her but he didnt know that Laurent and Victoria would come back or that the wolves would surface once again, what with Laurent almost having her as a bag of munchies in the meadow, which never would have happened if Edward had still been there, and the wolves would still be there, just that Eclipse happenings would have happened all the sooner...he isnt exactly my favorite guy but he isnt a total demon either *winces* as much as i hate to admit it...i was kinda irritated that she wasnt mad at him at the end of NM but im kinda like Bella in my state of mind, and i would have been savoring every moment with him, and then throw my hissy fit after he would have been gone, if it happened that way...ah well, Steph's gonna write as the characters do, not what she thinks they should...it's not even her fault Edward left in the first place...(time for one of my favorite terms...) EDWARD DID IT!

well i can understand edward fairly well. see, he loves bella more than everything else in his very long life. she is everything for him. so he had to leave in new moon. its true he's controlling and overreacting (the thing in volterra showed us how much overreacting). but the point is that he only wants the best for bella.
on the other hand, jacob is ...in many ways better for bella.
i love both.
edward is controlling. jacob is jealous. who cares?

when i read the first book i didn't swoon over edward. i really didn't i thought the story line was cute, but didn't have some crazy obsession over edward. and by the end of new moon i found myself wanting jacob and bella to be together, and i loved jake from then on.

Edward is crazy and controlling...end off story.

see: IF edward had died 1918, bella would probably end up with mike ... or someone but not with jake. 'cause bella only talked to jake because she wanted to know more about edward. she only flirted with him because of edward. if edward didn't exist jake wouldn't have fallen in love with bella ...
and: if edward didn't exist then bella didn't give birth to nessie and jake would have never found his real soulmate.

so you shouldn't hate edward because he lives, loves and gets bella pregnant.

Because he is too controlling over Bella it's like Bella doesn't have her own life...grrr...makes me angry...poor Bella..and who wants to be watched while they sleep at night...certainly not me...Creepy
